Johannesburg (South Africa) is a very interesting city to live in. It is an enormous city forest, and both an aging and modern city. It's people, transitory and permanent, come from an enormous variety of places and races. Neighbourhoods range from tragically squalid to embarrassingly opulent. I've always lived here, and I alternate from hating and loving this fascinating place.
